Original Peacock & Tree Painting | Madhubani-Inspired Wall Art

A Garden Full of Life

Bring colour, warmth and a sense of togetherness into your home. Beneath a flowering tree, two peacocks face one another in a scene filled with delicate leaves, bright blossoms and intricate pattern.

The Story Behind the Artwork

Inspired by Madhubani, a tradition of Indian folk art, this original hand-painted artwork on cloth canvas pairs nature motifs with bold outlines, rich colour and a decorative border.

The flowering tree can evoke growth and family, while the two peacocks bring a feeling of companionship to the scene. For someone with a connection to Indian art, it offers a familiar visual language; for someone discovering it for the first time, it is a joyful way to bring colour and story into an Australian home.

Place it in a living room, entryway or gallery wall, or choose it as a thoughtful gift for a housewarming, wedding or new chapter together.

Why You’ll Love It

• It gives your space a story. The flowering tree and two peacocks create a scene that feels welcoming and full of life.
• It makes a gift feel considered. Its themes of growth and connection give you something meaningful to share with the recipient.
• It brings colour without losing warmth. The lively palette can lift a quiet corner and become a natural point of interest in the room.
• There is pleasure in looking closer. The painted leaves, flowers and patterned border offer more to notice beyond the first impression.
• You can make the final look your own. Choose the framed painting for a finished presentation, or select it unframed to pair with a frame that suits your space.
• It is an original painting. You are choosing the painted artwork itself, rather than a printed reproduction.

Choose Your Finish

Framed — ready for its place in your home
he framed option comes with a white frame. The white frame gives the colourful painting a clean edge and a finished look.

Unframed — make the finishing touch your own
The 30 × 30 cm unframed artwork gives you the freedom to choose a frame that works with your furniture, wall colour and personal style. It is also an inviting gift for someone who enjoys curating their own home. The images show how this artwork can look in different frame styles.

Oak, black and gold frames are shown for inspiration only and are not available to purchase. Choose the unframed option to select your own frame.
