First Light Serenity - Spiritual Om – Handcrafted Paper Quilling Decor

Where Stillness Meets the First Light

Bring warmth, colour and meaning into your space with First Light Serenity, a handcrafted paper quilling OM artwork inspired by the first light over Manly Beach.

Deep crimson, vibrant red, glowing orange, golden amber and charcoal tones surround the sacred OM, capturing the warmth and energy of sunrise as a new day begins. The result is a dimensional piece of spiritual wall art that brings together Australian coastal inspiration, mindfulness and artisan craftsmanship.

At its centre, the OM becomes a visual anchor for reflection — a gentle reminder to pause, breathe and begin again.

Crafted One Coil at a Time

Born from approximately 60 hours of meticulous craftsmanship, carefully selected coloured paper strips are individually coiled, shaped and arranged by hand to form the sacred OM.

The many coils create texture, movement and depth, while the hand-painted acrylic background gives the artwork its glowing sunrise character. Unlike a mass-produced print, the individual coils, shadows and painted surface become part of the artwork itself.

As an original one-of-a-kind paper quilling artwork, First Light Serenity cannot be recreated exactly like for like. Any future piece inspired by this design would naturally carry its own arrangement, character and subtle handmade differences.

Why You’ll Love It

• Brings a sense of renewal into your space — the sunrise theme naturally connects with fresh starts, new chapters and everyday optimism.
• Creates a meaningful focal point — the sacred OM adds mindfulness and reflection beyond simply filling a wall.
• Offers something different from mass-produced décor — dimensional paper quilling and a hand-painted background bring visible texture, craftsmanship and individuality.
• Adds warmth without overwhelming the room — rich sunrise colours give the piece energy while retaining a contemplative feel.
• Makes a thoughtful gift for new beginnings — especially for housewarmings, weddings, milestones, life transitions or someone creating a more mindful home.
• Carries its story beyond the frame — it comes with a complementary First Light Serenity story and mindfulness card.
• Feels genuinely individual — this is a one-of-a-kind artwork, so there won’t be another exactly like it.
